The new PC has been constructed, and it is a dream to behold:

You know what is depressing? My system renders that 3D benchmark clip in your video at about 5 fps if I'm lucky! And that is with 1.5Gb of RAM and a Radeon 9700PRO which is quite depressing. :-(
I guess it is just an excuse to upgrade my system. Damn you for raising the barrier! Grrrr!

Jealousy has caused me to fork out for a similar graphics card for myself. It's an AGP variant from MSI. Not overclocked as I believe BFG cards are, but nice all the same.
It's currently sitting in a depot, waiting to be shipped. Excited. :)
